Bill has been a PGA member since 1989, and has been helping golfers reach their potential through instruction for 25 years. He is currently teaching at Harpeth Valley Golf Center, where he began in 2004 upon returning to his hometown of Nashville, TN. Prior to his return, Bill spent 20 years working in the Daytona Beach and Orlando area as head golf professional and teaching professional. He has given thousands of lessons from the beginner to the tour level professional, and was swing instructor at The Golf Academy of the South for multiple years. In his spare time, Bill has also enjoyed writing numerous golf articles for local sport pages. Some of the noted and Top 100 golf instructors


Bill has had the privilege to work with and learn from include Jim Suttie, Craig Shankland, Mike Bender, and Charlie King. Bill is also a very competitive player in his own right. As an amateur, he qualified as medalist for the US Public Links. After turning professional, Bill’s accomplishments include earning 3 victories on mini-tours, and shooting a 64 in competition. His lowest round ever is a 62.


Bill is a 1984 graduate of the University of Memphis and very proud father of Maria (14) and Michael (12).
