Most golfers can't do both, but Bill Breen is the rare combination of both player and coach. A PGA member since 1989, Bill has taught tens of thousands of golfers from the beginner to the tour level professional for more than 30 years.
Bill is a successful competitor in the PGA. He was the Tennessee State Senior Open Champion in 2013, 2016, 2020 and 2022, played in the US Senior Open in 2014, and 2018 (making the cut to play the weekend). Three weeks after the 2018 US Senior Open, he qualified for the British Senior Open and played The Old Course for the first time in his life - in a senior major competition. In 2022 he made the British Senior Open for a second time at Gleneagles Golf Club in Auchterarder Scotland. In 2020 Bill won every tournament in the Tennessee Section PGA in addition to the Iowa Senior State Open. He started 2021 with a win in the Arizona Senior State Open and went on to compete in the Senior PGA Championship at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Bill's goal for his students is to see an improved, more repetitive ball flight, lower scores and more enjoyment from the game.
Bill currently teaches private lessons at Harpeth Valley Golf Center in Bellevue, Tennessee.

Bill is one ranked of the top Senior Professional Golfers in the state of Tennessee because of his performance in local, regional and national tournaments. He brings that experience to his lessons to help his students learn the skills necessary to play well on the course under pressure.
